Mike returns for his second year as the Manager of Red Apple after his team finished third in the Major-70 standings in 2011.

He serves on the Board of Directors as the League Representative and has coached at KA for the last five years, including the 9 and 10-year-old All Star teams. In fact, Mike has coached three current and/or past Major League players. He played baseball for Rogers High School in Spokane and for Spokane Falls Community College.

Mike cites his greatest reward as a coach is being able to see the players mature and improve their skills throughout the season.

Mike is married to Marcy and the couple has two children: Adriana, 17, who is a student at Chiawana High School and Christian, who is starting his last season at KA. He works as a Nuclear Chemical Operator. He enjoys playing competitive Mens Softball, which he has done for the last 20 years.
